Job Summary

Meals by Grace is looking for a Director of Volunteers! This position will organize, plan, and contact volunteers at Meals by Grace. For this position, we are looking for a flexible & passionate person who will provide direction, coordination, and consultation for all volunteer functions within Meals by Grace.

Responsibilities and duties:

· Board liaison- work with Ambassadors & engagement committee to empower volunteers, team leaders and have ideas for service

· Communication- be the primary resource to create engaging content, share speaking responsibilities, focus on volunteers & donor opportunities

· Data- gather, record, maintain, & provide data to ensure accurate reporting of volunteer engagement. Review analytics to look for trends, issues, and opportunities.

· Playbook- build engagement processes, plans, and supporting documentation into the playbook. Include teams, service day, and pre- and post-service day activities. Test each and ensure accuracy.

· Volunteers- engage volunteers and create team leaders. Provide opportunities for kids & various activities to engage adults during the entire service day

· Collaborate with others

· Develop, promote, and maintain a wide range of volunteer opportunities within the organization

· Provide ongoing support and guidance for volunteers

· Maintain communication with volunteers and team leaders

· Distribution of information relevant to volunteers

· Speaking engagements as needed

Qualifications and skills:

· Basic skill in computer applications such as word, excel, spreadsheets, internet usage

· Record keeping skills for admissions and marketing

· People skills

Day & Time requirements:

· Flexible, working during the week and Sundays

· Ability to work on Saturday around holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
