The successful candidate should have a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) or Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification and a combination of education and/or experience totaling seven years of relevant experience. Any of the following is acceptable:

• Associate degree in CAD/BIM, technology design, engineering technology or related field from an accredited institution and five years of relevant experience in building design or construction, preferred in technology systems.
• If no degree, seven years of relevant experience in building design, with at least four of those years in technology systems experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

• Designing technology (ICT) systems involving new and/or building renovation projects
• Designing security electronic systems
• Participating in technical meetings with clients and project teams
• Designing low voltage and/or electrical systems
• Revit, AutoCAD and BIM (Building Information Modeling) software

The ideal candidate will also have:

• Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI)
• American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification
• or related registrations or certifications.
