Description

We are seeking a Jr. Controls Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting in the designing, developing, and implementing control systems for our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop control systems for manufacturing processes, including electrical schematics, panel layouts, and control logic
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems into new and existing equipment
- Program and configure logic controllers, human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and other automation devices
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure proper functionality and performance
- work side by side our maintenance and electrical techs providing support and guidance to production teams during system implementation and operation
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in control system technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 1-3 Yrs knowledge of control system design principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, or similar
- Experience with MicroStation or other CAD software for electrical design
- Familiarity with logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and other automation devices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
