Job Title: Trust & Estates Paralegal
Location: Raleigh NC
Job Description:
We are seeking a Trust & Estates Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This role involves providing essential support to attorneys specializing in Trust and Estate matters. Responsibilities include drafting legal documents, conducting research, communicating with clients, and assisting with administrative tasks related to estate planning and probate cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting legal documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
Conducting legal research on trust and estate law.
Estate administration experience
Communicating with clients and other parties involved in estate matters.
Experience with probate filings and fiduciary accounting
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
Proficient knowledge of tax preparation and fiduciary accounting software
Experience preparing and filing federal estate and gift tax returns
Experience as a Trusts & Estates Paralegal
Assisting attorneys during the probate process.
Organizing and maintaining client files.
Providing administrative support as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification.
Prior experience as a paralegal, preferably in trust and estate law.
ABA approved Paralegal course of study or North Carolina State Paralegal Certification
Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
