MCG LLC is Hiring a HR Administrator Near Troy, MI

We are looking for a new addition to our team, who has a desire to learn about or already knows a little about Human Resources. We would train you in a variety of tasks such as:

  • Review new employee paperwork for completion, follow up with employees regarding missing essential documents.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding employee relations, terminations, complaints, etc.
  • Review, update, and create company policies and handbooks as needed.
  • Manage the progression of workers compensation injuries, follow up with treating providers, handle billing inquiries, and returning injured employees to work.
  • Issue certificates of workers compensation insurance upon request and according to required specifications.
  • Log and respond to unemployment claims, assist with preparation for unemployment hearings.
  • Administer employee leaves of absence by completing necessary paperwork.
  • Answer multi-line phone system, direct calls to appropriate departments.
  • Order office supplies as needed.
  • File employee paperwork.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Professional Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Works well under pressure, able to switch gears to meet changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and very organized.
  • Timely and reliable.
  • At least one year of HR experience or equivalent education preferred.

Note: Our benefits include 100% company-paid health plan.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Pay based on experience and knowledge.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
