The Estimator is a critical piece of the project pipeline working directly with the Business Development team. We need an individual with the organizational, time-management, and creative thinking skills to help us grow through successful proposal submission and acceptance. This extraordinarily talented individual must embrace technology, and have a never-ending thirst for ongoing learning/knowledge expansion, and be able to build relationships with subcontractors and clients throughout the bidding process.

A few essential duties include, but are not limited to:

· Read, analyze, and understand project requirements such as blueprints, specifications, and design books, in order to prepare accurate estimates.

· Comprehensively evaluate site conditions and identify discrepancies and potential problems.

· Coordinate with Architects, designers, and clients to ensure all information is obtained for accurate project estimate.

· Source, solicit, collect, and review trade partner proposals and pricing to ensure accuracy, scope coverage, qualifiers/assumptions, and reasonability of pricing.

· Research value engineering and its applications within the scope of work while not taking away from project quality and client satisfaction

· Schedule and conduct onsite project walks with potential trade partners answering questions and submitting RFIs to clients.

· Analyze proposal requirements and prepare all necessary forms and documentation for presentation to clients.

· Schedule and conduct required internal meetings to review estimates and perform required handoffs as necessary
