Type: Full Time In Office Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm

Location: Mayzo Headquarters in Suwanee, GA

Compensation: $75,000 to $95,000

Overview:

Mayzo is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to join our professional team. This hands-on individual contributor position requires the ability to manage accounts and support sales strategies and activities. In our collaborative and team-based culture, the Inside Sales Manager will work closely with other professionals involved in sales, operations, quality control, and supply chain.

This is an opportunity to join a vibrant, privately held company with the excitement and growth of an entrepreneurial start-up, yet with the stability of a 36-year-old business with brand recognition and solid financials.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interface with customers by phone and email to ensure proper customer contact is developed and maintained at identified accounts and with the frequency defined by the overall regional plan.
  • Increase sales by expanding product offerings to existing customers and winning back customers who have stopped buying from Mayzo.
  • Respond to incoming web leads, emails, and phone calls to develop new or expand existing business.
  • Accurately forecast future sales to help the business make wise business decisions, identify potential problems, and improve the sales process.
  • Deliver year-over-year growth in gross profit for designated area of responsibility, including growth with existing products at existing accounts, new products at existing accounts, and developing new customers for Mayzo within territory.
  • Obtain accurate information about customers, their end-users, current and future business plans, and then analyze, report, and make recommendations so that Mayzo may plan and implement programs consistent with the group’s strategic plan to meet targeted goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science or higher degree in chemistry or an engineering discipline with demonstrated ability to apply scientific and selling principles. Proven hands-on ability with standard commercial environment. Fifteen or more years relevant experience in lieu of technical degree.
  • Must have strong communication skills and be able to interface effectively with multiple levels of the scientific, plant, marketing, and purchasing personnel of Mayzo and its customers.
  • Has deep knowledge of target market technology and practice, and experience with the commercial used of additive chemistry in this area. Sales or marketing experience with polymer additives and broad knowledge of additives technology is required.
  • Ability to lead/coach/mentor sales peers to ensure/drive growth in developing markets.
  • Must have significant experience managing key accounts / corporate accounts / global accounts.
