The Production Manager coordinates and oversees operations of the field installations process, including measures, job site activity, and customer service.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do as our Production Manager: 

Coordination of Production Management - 45%

• Oversees, manages, coaches, and coordinates training for all Production field employees and Subcontractors to ensure quality work and timely completion on all jobs.
• Works with Warehouse attendant to ensure proper stock levels for job installs.
• Review and direct the post-install service program with the production coordination team.
• Coordinate and oversee the permitting process to install products to maintain compliance.
• Ensure quality control of all MaxHome products and installations to make and keep our customers happy.
• Train and monitor the presentation with installers in the field and role-play sessions.
• Accurately Measure jobs as required to reduce cost and maintain installation schedule.

Customer Service – 40%

• Handle questions or inconsistencies on sold jobs to ensure jobs are installed according to the company-approved specifications and promises to customers.
• Maintain active notes with Lead Perfection on conversations between customers and team members so that everything is documented.
• Work directly with the Divisional Sales Manager to update and resolve “hold problem management” jobs with Lead Perfection by department standards.
• Complete the Manager call process with each customer after all installations.
• Complete required job site visits by department standards using the approved recording form.

Administration – 15%

• Maintain up-to-date and proper records for all service activity using Lead Perfection Notes, Job Costing, and Documents Tab to document additional work/job changes.
• Meet with the Divisional Operations Manager and review a weekly report to report progress on Monthly Revenue Goals, Service Logs, Customer Feedback (Survey Results), and Backlog.
• Ensure up-to-date SOPs are being used and followed for installation activities so that all employees and subcontractors operate within the most current guidelines, including LSWP.
• Ensure safety programs are followed and oversee monthly safety meetings while apprising the Operations Manager of any concerns or events to minimize workplace injuries and loss of employee work time.

Qualifications

• Road warrior: own a reliable vehicle, have a valid driver's license, and enjoy being on the road.

  • The Operations Field Manager’s time will be split 85% in the field and 15% in an office setting.

  • Travel outside the work area may occasionally be required based on business needs.
