Responsibilities

The position of Warehouse Technician / Groundman you will perform shipping, delivery and receiving duties; responsible for helping maintain inventories through spot checks and cycle counts.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Receives and delivers inbound packages.
• Drive a flatbed truck to pick up and make deliveries.
• Maintains inventory control.
• Fills material requisitions and delivers to appropriate department.
• Assists in purchasing materials.
• Responsible for cleanliness of warehouse and shipping areas.
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
• All other duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION :

• Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Required to obtain DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
• Drive a 24ft box truck
• Warehouse and shipping / receiving experience.

COMPETENCIES :

• Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts a plus.
• Knowledge of Internet software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
