Sheet Metal Foreman
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Reading and understanding mechanical drawings, blueprints, and specs.
Following and role-modeling a commitment to safety requirements.
Installing hangers and ductwork in new commercial buildings.
Mold and craft sheet metal to fit the need of the projects while following all necessary building codes.
Train and develop Apprentices on the tools and skills needed to properly install HVAC components.
Experience, Training, and/or Certifications:
5 or more years of Sheet Metal experience in a commercial or industrial field.
Ability to show required schooling and hours worked to be considered a Journeyman.
NCCER certification preferred.
Additional Requirements:

Requires mechanical aptitude, mathematical, and English language skills.

Initiative; self-motivated (driven), self-starter.
Excellent communication and customer services skills.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Must be able to work independently and without supervision.
Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop, and comfortably lift up to 60 lbs.
Familiarity with blueprint, schematic, drawings, and other equipment layout materials.
Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening.
Ability to pass a physical ability test.
Ability to travel, as needed, for projects.
Must have High School diploma or equivalency and a valid driver’s license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
