The Academic Affairs Data Analyst works collaboratively with the Assistant to the Vice President of Academic Affairs, faculty, and staff. Functions include maintaining adjunct faculty payroll, adjunct contracts, adjunct seniority, collective bargaining contract interpretation and application to duties assigned, respond to information requests, and is responsible for the creation and maintenance of procedural documentation.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Maintain union seniority lists
  • Distribute and track adjunct faculty contracts
  • Maintain faculty contract database
  • Maintain the union salary tables
  • Calculate adjunct faculty salaries
  • Review and reconcile faculty workloads
  • Respond to information requests
  • Act as liaison with Information Technology (IT) to communicate requests for new or changes to existing reports and other data requests
  • Maintain forms (or other similar software) for Academic and Student Affairs (ASA)
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting for ASA
  • Document procedures
  • Update and maintain database records and other academic programs as needed
  • Assist with software implementation
  • Focuses on the Commonwealth's Equity Agenda by applying related best practices throughout all job functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including: techniques of data manipulation and filtering, construction of formulas and construction of algorithms
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Reporting Systems including those used in Higher Education.
  • Knowledge of electronic form design including personalization, intelligent fields, validation, routing, and adaptive form concepts
  • High attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Banner experience
  • Evisions Argos knowledge and experience
  • Dynamic Forms knowledge and experience
  • 2-3 years' experience working in a community college

Additional Information:


Position Status:
Non-unit Professional, full-time state funded with benefits, including but not limited to tuition remission, health insurance, dental insurance, long-term disability insurance, state pension, and generous leave time.

Hours: 37.5 per week

Salary: $62,511.33.94 - $78,139.72 Annually. Commensurate with education and experience.

Worksite: Assignments will include all Massasoit sites; hybrid work schedule is allowed
