JOB TITLE: roject Manager

LOCATION: Houston, Texas City, Gulf-Coast Area (Texas)

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Responsible for the proper management and control of marine and civil pile driving operations and marine construction for projects along the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast. The Project Manager reports directly to the President/Construction Manager

GENERAL FUNCTIONS AND SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support, manage, and implement company policy and procedures
• Ensure the safe operations and scope of work for project requirements and deadlines
• Prepare, report, estimate, and submit proposals, project costs, schedules, etc.
• Advise on needed documentation, project status, and field operations
• Establish and maintain effective, knowledgeable, factual, ethical, and professional relationships with Owners, Customers, Contractors, Field Staff, and Regulator Agencies
• Ensure positive public relations.
• Review and comply with project specific procedures, including client policies and procedures under the terms of the contracted work.
• Provide accurate project estimates and preparation in accordance with the requirements of the project and Company’s procedures/policy.
• Negotiate and prepare contracts and amendments, change orders, purchase orders, acquired services.
• Assist in preparation of Work Programs and Work Projections
• Review all construction documents for conformance with program, budget and schedule.
• Read and comprehend all contractual agreements, drawings, specifications and requirements.
• Initiate and coordinate contacts and negotiations with public utilities and/or governing/regulatory agencies as appropriate.
• Prepare daily Logs and ensure that they contained all appropriated information, forward to the CM inclusive of all pertinent documentation IE: Bills of Lading, Change Orders, Notices, Sales Receipts, etc.

CRITERIA FOR SELECTION:

• 6 – 10 experience as a Project Manager/Construction Manager responsible for Project Delivery.
• Ability to supervise multiple subordinates and project crews
• Self-motivator with an ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to coordinate and expedite multiple tasks and priorities.
• Ability to be fully discreet and to maintain confidentially
• Loyal character and Team participant
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Undergraduate Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architectural studies preferred.
• Previous experience managing or supporting Pile Driving Operations is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
