Position Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in executing our marketing initiatives, managing trade show logistics, and driving our organic media program. You'll have the opportunity to contribute your own marketing strategies while working closely with the marketing team to achieve our business objectives.
As a secondary responsibility of Office Manager, you would also make sure every Mashgin team member has what they need to get the job done. This includes a clean work environment, stocked kitchenette, tidy desks and conference rooms, and shipping/receiving packages.
You would be responsible for 'Trade Show and Event Management' 60% of the time, and all other duties 40% of the time.
You Will Be Responsible For
    • Trade Show and Event Management (60%):
    • Manage all aspects of trade show logistics, including booth setup, event coordination, and post-show breakdown.
    • Work with the sales team on the show floor to engage new potential customers and connect with existing accounts.
    • Conduct post-event analyses to evaluate the effectiveness and return on investment of each event.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful event execution and follow-up.
    • Find new shows with the opportunity to help our business and optimize our trade show budget for the largest possible impact.
    • Travel to trade shows and events up to 50% of the time.
    • Organic Social Media Program:
    • Plan, execute, and optimize our organic media program across various channels (LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram).
    • Create and curate engaging content that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our target audience.
    • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, and implement data-driven strategies to improve engagement and conversions from organic content
    • Lead Management:
    • Assist with qualifying and routing inbound leads and updating our CRM with the appropriate information
    • Nurture and follow up with inbound leads, ensuring a positive customer experience.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective lead nurturing campaigns.
    • Strategic Marketing Initiatives:
    • Dedicate 10% of your time to personal development and pursue your own marketing strategies and initiatives to achieve business objectives.
    • Conduct market research, identify opportunities, and present actionable plans to the marketing team.
    • Office Management:
    • Maintain our environment including being the point person for: facilities/maintenance, supplies/equipment, janitorial duties, daily lunch orders, office operations and procedures, and generally making the office an enjoyable place to be!
    • You would be working from our HQ in Palo Alto, CA at least 2x a week for weeks that do not require event travel.
Minimum Qualifications
    • Exceptional verbal interpersonal communication skills. In many cases you may be the first person from our company to meet a potential client, that interaction is pivotal.
    • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
    • 2 years experience in marketing, event management, or a similar role.
    • Familiarity with Hubspot as a CRM and marketing tool.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, or similar design tools.
    • Excellent written communication skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
    • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

$85,000 - $115,000 a year
For roles based in Palo Alto, CA, the salary range for this position is estimated to be $85,000- $115,000 USD annually. Note that total compensation for this position will be determined by candidate's relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other relevant factors. This estimate excludes the value of any bonuses; the value of any benefits offered by Mashgin; and the potential future value of any other long-term incentives.
