Status: Full Time ($55K to $65K based on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM (Flexible)
Maryland Treatment Centers, Inc is seeking a Staff accountant to join our team. Work can be performed as a combination of remotely and on site as needed.
Maryland Treatment Centers is an established regional behavioral health provider focused on clinical excellence, innovation, and scholarship. We offer a full continuum for the treatment of addictions and co-occurring disorders with a special focus on opioid use disorder. We also operate two MSDE non-public schools. Located in West Baltimore at 3800 Frederick Avenue. MTC programs are accredited by the Joint Commission (JCAHO).
This position will work under general supervision with the primary activity being reporting for grants/contracts and education services.
Specific responsibilities include:
o Assist with budgeting and contracting for Montgomery County and others.
o Bill tuition and related services for two MSDE non-public schools.
o Compile documentation and invoice grants/contracts for work performed and related expenditures.
o Follow up on grant related receivables.
o Monitor and report on actual to budget performance.
o Meet with management as needed regarding status of grants.
o Gather documentation for external compliance audits.
o Other general accounting duties e.g account reconciliations
