Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Manager to oversee the operations of our residential facility. The Residential Manager will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents, as well as managing the day-to-day activities of the facility. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals in need.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise staff members, including training and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable DDA regulations and guidelines
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and supportive environment
- Coordinate resident care plans and ensure their implementation
- Oversee medication administration and ensure proper documentation
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility
- Maintain accurate resident records and documentation
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure their dignity and privacy are respected
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Manage budgets, inventory, and supplies
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a DDA licensed group home or nursing home
- Knowledge of systems related to residential care facilities
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols
- Understanding of resident rights and regulations governing residential facilities
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Ability to provide supervision and training to staff
