Job Description
Martin Marietta is seeking qualified candidates for a sales admin role that will be based out of the Minnesota District Office. This position will provide administrative support for the aggregate sales department within the district.
Essential Functions
- Assist with updating quotes/sales orders, credits/rebills and customer account reconciliations.
- Update weekly/monthly/quarterly tracking schedules for the sales team.
- Answering Sales line, taking sales orders, and order entry into JDE
- Dispatch weighmasters/scale clerks
- Backup dispatch for internal and external delivery trucks
- Enter dispatches into Apex
- Processing credit card transactions
- Assist accounting with fixing tickets, sales orders, etc.
- Assist weighmasters/scale clerks with general questions and Apex questions
- Communicate with customers via email and phone
- All other duties assigned.

Work Environment
This position operates 100% of the time in an office setting.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position working a minimum of 40 hours per week, some overtime as required.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma required.
- Two to three years of office administrative experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong administrative skills with some proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
