Description :

Acts as the primary client relationship manager with responsibility for all account servicing. Functions as the central point of communication in the department acting as a liaison between various Marsh departments and functional areas.

Consults with the Client Executive / Program Manager in the day-to-day client needs. Proactively manages tasks and projects that impact administration of the business to achieve timely and efficient action.

Marsh is seeking a Client Advisor to be based ideally in the Urbandale office as Hybrid

Commercial Insurance Client Advisor

What can you expect?

Serves as the project manager for the account team on large initiatives or complex accounts, implements action plans, monitors progress, assures service meets or exceeds expectations and protects the firm from Errors & Omissions.

Drafts comprehensive project documents intended for clients including white papers, approaches, quantitative financial analyses or general presentations on new subjects or opportunities to support the creation of sales opportunities and account backing.

Conducts and refines data analyses to support proposal creation and account-facing presentations.

Addresses escalated issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner, helps manage expectations, mitigate relationship risks and applies judgement as to when to escalate major issues to senior level colleagues ensuring compliance.

Offers technical and transactional support for complex or high-priority issues when needed to ensure relationship satisfaction and facilitate a mutual internal and external understanding.

Develops strong relationships with professional counterparts both within Marsh and externally with client organizations.

Attends and participates in industry events and conferences to build up a strong professional network, maintain proximity to the relevant market and represent the Company.

Coordinates and manages the administrative activity for client accounts.

We will count on you to :

Assists the Partner Manager in day-to-day support of clients to retain client accounts and establish client relationships.

Manages the delivery of services to achieve high levels of client satisfaction.

Creates, maintains, and leads cross-functional teams to maximize the effective delivery of client projects and administrative services.

Ensure service levels meet or exceed client expectations and protect the firm from Errors & Omissions (E&O).

Identifies important business needs of clients, effectively communicates those needs internally and leads internal teams for solutions.

Data analysis / recommendations, advising clients on identified trends and issues in programs. Identifies and communicates opportunities for cross-sell.

What you need to have :

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a client facing capacity, insurance and business knowledge required.

Establishes strong relationships with the client / carrier and develops an understanding of all aspects of the client. Identifies and communicates opportunities for cross-sell.

Evaluates current processes and determines new solutions and process improvements, communicates those across other departments and functional areas.

Attends conferences, client meetings and meetings with other departments.

Ensures that quality standards are adhered to in all aspects of the business.
