NFI Massachusetts is Hiring a Mental Health/Social Work Clinician Near Haverhill, MA

 NFI Massachusetts Inc., a private non-profit human service organization, is currently seeking a Mental Health/Social Work Clinician for a new Substance Use Services Contract located in Haverhill MA. The ideal candidate will have experience working with school aged youth diagnosed with substance use and mental health issues. 

The mission of the Ambulatory Services Clinic is to provide the highest quality mental health and substance use treatment and prevention to our consumers. We accomplish this by serving all with dignity and respect in an environment that supports individuals and families in their personal development.

Clinician services include:

  • Individual mental health and substance use treatment in office and community
  • Group mental health and substance use treatment.
  • Intake Assessment, screening, and Diagnosis
  • Substance Use Assessments
  • Family Support and Treatment
  • Involvement in community education events

Job Responsibilities:

  • Completion of intake and assessments to determine appropriate level of care.
  • Collaboration with collaterals and other natural supports.
  • Completion of individual treatment plan.
  • Facilitate group treatment.
  • Ongoing individual psychotherapy and quarterly treatment reviews.
  • Crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Harm reduction and recovery/safety planning as needed.
  • Collaboration and Referrals with outside community resources.
  • Flexible hours including afternoon and evening services and Evening and weekend community events.

Job Requirements:

  • A Master’s degree in social work or counseling that is license-eligible (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, LICSW).
  • Experience working with school aged youth diagnosed with substance use disorder.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and writing skills.
  • Familiarity with third party reimbursement.
  • Flexible schedule as some evenings may be required.

Salary: $60,000

Benefits for full time employees include: Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, 403(b) Retirement Plan, 3 weeks paid vacation time, Paid Sick Leave and Tuition reimbursement up to $2500 per fiscal year.
