Position Overview:
As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our guests. The role demands a high level of energy, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, while also enjoying the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Utilize POS systems efficiently to process orders and payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and work stations to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Utilize basic math skills for tasks such as handling cash transactions and calculating bills.
- Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and ensure timely service.
- Utilize upselling techniques to promote additional menu items and enhance the overall guest experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food handling and delivery to guests.
- Utilize culinary experience to provide menu recommendations and answer questions about food preparation.
- Prioritize guest services by anticipating needs and providing a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
Qualifications:
- Experience in retail or other customer service industries is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- High energy level and positive attitude
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
