Description:
Markon Solutions is seeking a Database Administrator to support our Intelligence customer. Some duties may include:
- Provide general database administration for a set of OracleApplications
- Create and maintain all databases required for development, testing, training and production usage
- Administration for all database objects includingtables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures
- Provide technical support toapplicationdevelopment teams
- Troubleshoot problems regarding databases, applications and development tools
- Depending on the level: Requires anywhere from 3-11 years of experience
- Install, patch and maintain all Oracle software
- Tune all Oracle instance components including SQL and PL/SQL
- Control all migrations of Oracle schema objects
- Design and implement a backup & recovery system
- Implement Oracle failover technology
- Managing data security
- Capacity Planning
- Provide input on all production schema changes
- Provide input on changes to database design
- Data modeling and Oracle database design
