Description:

Markon is seeking a Junior or Mid-Level engineer with experience designing, developing, or analyzing theory-driven modeling, simulation, and analysis to support an exciting strategic effort modeling SIGINT and GEOINT for a government customer.

Responsibilities:

The modeling and simulation engineer/scientist acts as strategic advisors to Senior Customers and must have hands-on experience in designing, building and maintaining models.

The candidate will perform a critical role by guiding and assisting the customer with Modeling & Analysis (M&A) roadmaps as well as perform independent assessments on modeling and simulation efforts across the organization. Understand and provide guidance on both GEOINT and SIGINT simulations and analytics that visually portray architectures and system performance that directly informs Major Program Events and activities (i.e., SRR, MS-B, ICBD, Cost Estimation), Customers’ strategies and overall vision for the future of GEOINT and SIGINT

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program
• 6 years of experience as a MS&A Engineer will be considered in lieu of a degree
• Working experience in government or industry modeling utilizing large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments
• Experience collaborating across the team’s data scientists/engineers/analysts and senior level customers on data processing organization and techniques, to maintain dashboards and data, and to ensure accuracy of information and functionality
