Marki Microwave Inc. is Hiring a Supply Chain Intern Near Morgan Hill, CA

 

JOB SUMMARY

As a Supply Chain Intern at Marki Microwave you will have the opportunity to work with a team of highly skilled Supply Chain professionals who manage all activities and systems that support purchasing, planning, inventory management and logistics to bring Marki’s cutting-edge high frequency RF products to our customers. Internship project opportunities include hands-on strategic supplier initiatives, enterprise resource planning (ERP) system improvements and automated planning system implementation. You will also get direct experience of how a supply chain works for an advanced electronics manufacturing company. Depending on your skills and interests we can define a project that makes the most of your experience with us. This role is ideal for someone looking to start their career in Supply Chain. All internships are 10 weeks duration.

Relocation Assistance and Visa Sponsorship not included in the internship. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide hands-on support for the assigned Supply Chain project.
  • Work with the Supply Chain team to meet project objectives.
  • Manage priorities and communicate regularly with your manager on progress and challenges.
  • Ask questions and follow instructions as required to be able to execute tasks assigned to you.
  • Analyze and summarize collected data, and work with the team to investigate and resolve problems.
  • Present results to the Marki team at the conclusion of the internship via a readout meeting.

REQUIREMENTS

  • College undergraduate (Junior/Sophomore) studying project management, business or related field. 
  • Strong academic record (minimum GPA 2.8).
  • Understanding of, or experience in, project management and use of project management tools is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a self-starter works independently while contributing to the team goals.
  • Commitment to work with a hands-on approach in a team atmosphere.
