As an NPI Supply Planner at Marki Microwave, your primary responsibility is to provide an overall plan that drives seamless operations execution. You will work closely with the Sales& Marketing team to understand and rationalize customer demand, monitor and maintain weekly NPI program schedules, and work with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to secure resources and capacities that guarantee delivery to committed schedules. You will analyze medium and long-term demand signals, identify bottlenecks. and develop mitigation plans. This position also requires you to support tactical-level planning for New Product Introduction (NPI), Production, and R&D activities. |
- Create NPI program schedules with internal teams, owns the program schedules by monitoring each phase of the development cycle; phases include NPI build schedules, NPI build plans(work tickets ), Quality and reliability builds, Engineering R&D builds, raw material support, capacity resource planning (RPT w/production lines ).
- Take the lead managing all deliverables according to the program plan: highlighting and working to mitigate potential risks, ensuring all custom R&D/ NPI orders are shipped on time by scheduling materials and collaborating weekly with the cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate and monitor work ticket releases to support internal and external demand while efficiently utilizing materials and capacity.
- Manage Materials Resource Planning (MRP) to ensure timely availability of materials and lot size efficiencies.
- Own the supply commits to all teams and report to MGMT and teams of delinquencies or program risks. Manages and maintaines weekly Executive Summary on top 20 NPI products.
- Proactively identify material issues impacting product schedules.
- Prepare reports to communicate sales order status, production issues, and inventory analysis.
- Take the lead with Procurement, Logistics, Quality, and Engineering teams to ensure Engineering changes and new product releases are communicated and managed appropriately.
- Process all orders and demand changes in SAGE. Communicate the program plan's impacts to the planning manager, supply chain, scheduling, and management as needed.
- Supports Sales, Marketing, Quality, and Operations teams in communicating and reconciling customer issues.
- Provide support and direction to the Production Supervisor as needed for all WIP orders to ensure the product is complete and/or shipped per schedule.
- Provide procurement priorities on critical shortages preventing on-time material availability and kit drop. Escalate to cross-functional and management as needed.
- Complete New Product Introduction (NPI) requirements. Review the bill of material structure and suggest needed changes to Engineering to ensure optimal material flow for production build. Manage the Marki Development Gate Release process.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES - Thorough understanding of IC production and assembly operations with demonstrated production planning, material planning, and scheduling capability.
- Proven experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and other resources to effectively prioritize production and optimize material purchases and inventory for production. Experience with Sage ERP is a plus.
- Highly proficient in a Windows environment and with a recent version of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Power BI experience is a plus.
- Highly motivated and results-oriented, capable of driving progress, solving problems, and achieving objectives in a demanding environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to be flexible to changing priorities, deadlines, demands, and assignments as needed.
- Skilled at data analysis (queries, data manipulation, statistics, trending).
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Able to effectively present information, lead NPI program reviews, and respond to questions from management, peers, and customers.
- At least 5 years of project management experience
