In this role you will get to:

• Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of events from conception to completion.

• Develop and manage schedules/timelines, staffing plans, and vendor orders.

• Lead a team of production and event coordinators.

• Develop and implement event strategies to meet client objectives and internal company goals.

• Manage budgets, negotiate contracts, oversee invoicing, and ensure events are delivered within financial and time restrictions.

• Lead meetings with client, team members, and stakeholders (remotely and in-person) and be consistent with timely correspondence, briefings, presentations, etc.

• Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.

• Ensure high-quality event production and seamless operations.

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance event offerings.

Requirements

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Proven experience in event planning and management, with at least ten years in the event industry and five years in a senior role.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Proficiency in G Suite.

• Able to travel nationally and internationally.

The salary for this role is $115,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, relevant experience, and location. We also offer a competitive benefits package,
