Markham Investigation and Protection LLC. (MIP)
ESSENTIAL ROLE:
Seeking experienced and qualified candidates to fill Armed Security Officer position to work within our new protective team. At an on-call basis for various locations in western WA, mainly operating in the greater Seattle, area.
To be successful, candidates must have a minimum of 3 years' experience working armed assignments in the security industry, must be familiar and comfortable with firearms, and have proficiency with smartphone technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a visible deterrent.
- Patrol the facility to report potential safety or security risks.
- Provide emergency response to aid with incidents.
- Provide the highest level of customer service in both written and oral communications.
- Prepare accurate and detailed reports.
- This position includes regular walking and standing for extended periods of time.
- Some kneeling, stooping, or crouching may be involved.
- Ability to work outside in the elements (weather).
- Notify supervisors of unauthorized personnel on site.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 21 years of age for all locations.
- High school diploma/GED, or equivalent job-related experience.
- Able to pass drug test & background screening.
- Must have smartphone/data plan.
- Basic computer/mobile device skills
- Security guard license in WA State
- Must have personal vehicle/reliable transportation.
Must possess stress tolerance and de-escalation mindset
Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
Must be able to legally purchase a firearm according to Washington’s RWC 9.41
Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.
ADDITIONAL: (Preferred)
Valid state driver's license / safe driving record (For operating company vehicles)
CPR & first aid certification
Bilingual
