Responsibilities: - Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant - Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas - Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials - Take reservations and manage the seating chart - Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations - Ensure a clean and organized reception area - Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations - Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary - Maintain knowledge of restaurant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines Qualifications: - Previous experience in a restaurant or food service role is preferred - Strong hospitality and customer service skills - Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus - Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy - Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively with others - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
