Overview:
Join our dynamic early childhood education team and contribute to an enriching environment that supports the growth and development of young minds. As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in implementing a comprehensive, child-centered curriculum and fostering a secure, nurturing classroom atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of a child-care program that encourages the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Teacher in lesson planning and creating engaging, developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Assist in maintaining a healthy, safe, and organized classroom setting.
  • Provide individualized support and attention, adapting to the diverse needs of children.
  • Engage children in various activities, including storytelling, singing, and crafts.
  • Help in establishing routines and promoting good hygiene and eating habits among children.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to discussions on children's progress and classroom challenges.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and caregivers regarding children's development and daily activities.

Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in early childhood education or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiar with innovative teaching methods and curriculum development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building trust with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in early childhood education is advantageous.
  • Current or willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Must pass a comprehensive background check.
