Our Veterinary Receptionists are the face of our practice. This role plays an important part in our community reputation and in supporting our clients and patients by providing great customer service.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Demonstrate knowledge of general office practices and procedures, manage multiple phone lines
• handle cash and other forms of payment
• Learn basic veterinary terminology
• Communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner
• Basic computer skills, including ability to learn veterinary management software
• Ensuring that the reception area is clean, comfortable and welcoming for clients

Marin Pet Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team.

This is a full or part-time position working Monday –Friday with no weekends or overnights. Our Veterinary Assistants are an important part of our pet care team and help provide excellent care to our patients as well as providing outstanding customer service to our clients.

This position is a great training opportunity for someone that wants to become a Veterinary Technician. We prefer candidates with veterinary practice experience including (but not limited to) Greeting patients/clients, Lab work, Monitoring of patients, Assisting veterinarians, Pharmacy duties, and Handling medical records.
