Description
Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Security Officer to be part of our team as we expand our portfolio. Our newest addition will be a downtown Minneapolis, full-service, $15M revenue property with a global brand affiliation. The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the protection and safety of the guests, staff, and property.

What you will be doing:
- Patrols premises on foot to include guestroom floors, meeting space, back of the house areas, public areas, stairwells, parking ramp, and surface lot.
- Meets, greets and assists guests and associates.
- Writes incident report and nightly shift report.
- Maintains safety of guests and associates.
- Protects property and company assets.
- Witnesses Cash Drops.
- Assists in other areas when needed.
- Confirm doors are secured during required times and unlocked as scheduled
- 3rd shift delivery of amenities as requested by guests and collection of breakfast door hangers and room service trays.
- Enforces noise ordinance.
- Works with MOD to address situations involving guests and/or associates.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Prior hospitality, guest service and/or security experience preferred.
- Ability to read/write in English.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
