Schedule: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
We are looking for a full-time Unarmed Security Officer to join our team and ensure the safety of our client's premises, assets, and personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for patrolling the premises, responding to incidents, and enforcing security policies. The ideal candidate will have excellent observation skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine patrols of designated areas to deter and detect suspicious activities.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Enforce access control procedures to ensure authorized entry and exit.
- Respond professionally and appropriately to emergencies, including medical situations and incidents.
- Write clear and concise incident reports and maintain accurate daily activity logs.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with security protocols and industry best practices.
Ideal candidates will have security, unarmed security, loss prevention, or customer service experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 42.5 per week
