MARCH is Hiring an Office Coordinator Near Manchester, CT

Job Summary:

The Office Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of the office and administrative functions, as well as providing administrative support to the administrative team.

The Office Coordinator must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be highly organized, and work well with others. Other essential skills for this position include excellent computer and multi-tasking skills. This individual must have a team-oriented attitude and demonstrate a positive attitude toward work and the agency’s mission and goals.

Supervisor:

  • Receives supervision from Director of Human Resources.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary receptionist (present a professional, welcoming first contact by greeting, directing, and assisting visitors, as well as, answering and directing incoming calls).
  • Assist with all clerical duties.
  • Responsible for maintenance of common spaces for appearance and functionality.
  • Maintain general office tidiness.
  • Responsible for keeping office equipment maintained, including copier machines, phone system, etc...
  • Provide administrative support to all members of the administrative and residential team as needed.
  • Stock, distribute, and maintain inventory of all office supplies.
  • Maintain company calendar, overseeing and scheduling conference and training room meetings.
  • Assist in the communication and tracking of employee training(s).
  • Run errands and perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Throughout employment successfully meet and maintain the requirements of all certifications and training as established by regulatory bodies and the agency’s policies and procedures.
  • Attend and participate in required staff meetings.
  • Perform other related duties as requested.

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and detail oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize demands and handle multiple projects are essential.
  • Proficient in word/excel/access/data base creation and management.
  • Strong customer service orientation.

Education and Experience:

  • Current drivers license and proof of insurance required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years minimum administrative experience preferred.
  • Experience working with people who are intellectually/developmentally disabled preferred.
