MAPMG New is Hiring a Digital Content Producer Near Rockville, MD

 Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) invites applications for a Digital Content Producer to join our Strategy and Communications department. This position is a full-time opportunity based out of our regional office located in Rockville, MD with a hybrid work model.

Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group is comprised of more than 1,700 Permanente physicians and nearly 300 staff professionals who come together to make a positive impact on the health and lives of more than 800,000 members in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. 

Reporting to a Senior Content Strategy Writer, the Digital Content Producer will update content on digital platforms for the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group, including websites and other digital properties. You will lead efforts to implement best practices for content management and engagement across platforms, establish procedures for tracking relevant data and improving SEO, and ensure web content accuracy across all platforms. 

You can expect to: 

  • Collaborate with communication team colleagues and department leaders to build and grow a strong digital presence and advise staff on best practices for presenting different types of content on the web and building readership
  • Develop and execute communication strategies that enhance user experience, as related to content, design, SEO and navigation of MAPMG’s website; Schedule production of content on kp.org/doctor, including blogs, news articles, videos and other website updates 
  • Manage MAPMG’s website content operations for quality compliance, support web initiatives, and optimize site performance based on goals, pain points, and analytics 
  • Develop content creation plans that include editorial calendars, deliverables, and timelines for necessary webpage and content review 
  • Provide expertise and input as an active participant in developing integrated marketing plans that include traditional and digital objectives and strategies designed to establish brand awareness, consideration and conversion tactics 
  • Analyze data from digital marketing campaigns (i.e. email, web, search, social) to demonstrate achievement of objectives, and design strategies and tactics for continuous improvement 

What is required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in web design, graphic design, marketing, communications, information systems or a related field; Relevant experience may be substituted for bachelor’s degree 
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in website production and management, including experience in various content management systems (CMS); Experience with Tridion CMS is preferred 
  • Experience working with editorial content, blogs or online newsrooms 
  • Proficiency with web analytics, search engine optimization (SEO), Adobe Creative Suite, and Wordpress 
  • Excellent project management skills and a track record of successful program implementation 
  • Outstanding attention to detail, deadline oriented, and strong oral and written communication skills 
  • Must be able to commute to Rockville, MD one day per week 
  • Candidates must either currently live in or be willing to relocate to the Washington D.C., Maryland, or Virginia area 
  • Must provide proof of Covid booster vaccine (released in September 2023) and influenza vaccine as a condition of employment
