MAPMG New is Hiring a Podiatrist Near Upper Marlboro, MD

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) proudly provides the highest quality integrated care for over 800,000 members in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. We invite applications for a specialist in Podiatry at our Capitol Hill & Largo Medical Centers.

In collaboration with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States, we provide high-quality, patient-centered health care. Through this partnership, our physicians are part of an industry-leading healthcare delivery model, having access to advanced technological tools and receiving comprehensive practice support.

MAPMG physicians are salaried, without the pressures of alternative payment models or fee-for-services. Our members have easy access to specialists and medical records, thus allowing you to treat the whole patient.

What You Can Expect:

  • Join a collegial team of 11 Podiatrists in a physician-led and driven practice 
  • Work in challenging cases in an environment where there is immediate access to primary care, specialist physician consults, and freedom from prior authorizations and RVU's
  • Provide care with a built-in referral base from a large multi-specialty group 
  • Call is 1:11 at Maryland and DC core hospitals
  • Affiliations with top area hospitals
  • Reasonable, predictable scheduled 

Minimum Requirements:

  • DPM
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Foot Surgery (Rearfoot Surgery preferred but not required)
  • Prior experience, residency and/or fellowship training in foot (rearfoot optional) surgery with experience in trauma, diabetic foot care, wound care, and orthotics management.
  • Prior experience, fellowship training and/or interest in wound care and diabetic limb salvage are highly desirable.
  • Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
  • Work visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.
