Maple Dentistry is a private practice dental office in Livonia, Michigan that provides exceptional family dental care to patients of all ages. Qualifications

• 1 year of dental assistant experience (preferred)
• X-Ray certified (preferred)
• Proficient in Eaglesoft and/or Dentrix (preferred)
• Experience with intraoral scanning (preferred)
• Have your high school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dentists, performing the full range of chairside duties
• Perform preventive maintenance on dental equipment
• Manage dental supplies and records
• Make patients comfortable in the dental chair, prepare them for treatment, and obtain dental records
• Hand instruments and materials to dentists, and keep patients' mouths dry and clear by using suction or other devices
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment, and prepare tray setups for dental procedures
• Sometimes prepare materials for making impressions and restorations, and take dental digital x-rays
• Make casts of the teeth and mouth from impressions and clean and polish removable appliances
• Perform intraoral scanning of patients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
