Mantle Security is Hiring a Low Voltage Technician Near Orlando, FL

Mantle Security Inc. is one of Orlando's largest multi-family focused companies specializing in the installation of Video Surveillance, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Audio-Video, Home Automation and various other low voltage systems.

We are currently looking to hire Low Voltage Technician in the Orlando area. The ideal candidate will have experience in Video Surveillance, Access Control, Fire Alarm, and Audio-Video systems installation, programming and trouble shooting. We offer competitive pay (reflecting experience), Company Vehicle, Paid Time Off, and Paid Holidays.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Possesses 3-5 years of experience with installation, troubleshooting, programming, and servicing Video Surveillance and Access Control. Bonus if you know Fire Alarm and/or Audio-Video
  • Knowledge of computer networking
  • Personable, presentable, has excellent customer service and communication skills, and will be able to perform custom wiring and installations on commercial and multifamily projects in a timely manner
  • Strong drive and willingness to excel in your role
  • Be customer focused and thorough
  • Will have excellent troubleshooting skills

Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Installation/programming of CCTV, audio/video, access control systems, etc.
  • Installation Splicing/Termination/Testing of Fiber Optics
  • Trouble-shoot and repair issues with customers' new or existing equipment
  • Assure all paperwork is complete
  • Verifies security/fire alarm system functioning by testing equipment, connections, and signals; identifying and correcting problems
  • Maintains records by documenting installations
  • Maintains customer rapport by resolving concerns; answering questions
  • Maintains safe and secure work environment by following safe practices; keeping security information confidential
  • Mon-Fri 8:00am to 5pm, possible Overtime

Technician skills should include but are not limited to:

  • Be able to read blueprints and know where equipment needs to be installed
  • Learn our products and how they operate
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Products
  • Hands-on experience
  • Demonstrate how to use the equipment to the customer
  • Trouble-shoot and repair issues with customers' new or existing equipment
  • Respond quickly to customer problems
  • Assure all paperwork is completed
  • Maintain safe and secure work environment by following safe practices, keeping security information confidential
  • PAY RATE: $25.00 - $28.00 (Based on Experience)
