Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cloud System Architect, Junior, to join our team in Ft. Meade, MD. In this role, you will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Cloud Infrastructure Services hosted in multiple cloud environments.

• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  
  • Provide Tier I/II and Tier 3 (Escalation to Architecture Team) resolution of customer capacity requests.
  • Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to management and internal customers.
  • Provide connectivity and utilization support to Cloud Infrastructure Services managed cloud environment customers.
  • Provide customer support through chat, email and capacity request ticketing.
  • Follow established guidelines for delivery of cloud based resources.
  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of customer resources.
  • Provide assistance to users in accessing and utilizing cloud based computer resources.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact between the customer and the Architecture and Capacity Engineering teams.
  • Maintain currency of relevant documents and update the Wiki and SharePoint knowledge bases.
  Basic Qualifications:
  
  • Possess an entry-level/mid-cloud certification (i.e. Azure, AWS, Openstack).
  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university with four (4) years' experience.
  • Candidate will be responsible for drafting documentation such as FAQs and internal knowledge articles.
  • Strong understanding of IT principles.
  • Strong understanding of cloud compute principles.
  • Working understanding of commercially available cloud hosting options (Like: AWS, Azure)
  Preferred Qualifications:
  
  • Demonstrated experience using tools like OpenStack, Eucalyptus, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
  • Possess an advanced cloud certification (i.e. AWS, Azure, OpenStack)
  • Development experience with both Linux and Windows workloads using cloud technologies with automation including Amazon Cloudformation, OpsWorks, Ansible, Chef, and Docker.
  • Demonstrated experience writing software scripts using languages such as Perl, Python, or Ruby.
