They remain engaged with the broader data science community through keeping up to date with the latest breakthroughs in research and industry, incorporating new data science tradecraft into their areas of responsibility as they see fit. The Data Scientist III serves as the data science authority within their assigned projects and programs. Their hands-on expertise also enables them to develop new models and/or optimize existing models across datasets that include, but aren't limited to, text, speech, images, and video. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
