Job Description

Role Summary

This is an onsite position based at our Main Office location in Gastonia, NC.

Main Tasks

Lead the region with developing and deploying best practice SAP SD processes
Develop and maintain a sustainable SD key user matrix that supports long term stability in MP&L processes
Ensure SD Processes in the region provide sustainable solutions to ensuring process accuracy and efficiency, as well as, stand-up to any required reviews to improve breakpoints and gaps
Create a culture in the region of continuous improvement and best practice sharing
Integrate lean manufacturing principles into the MM processes within the region
As required, lead projects or process mapping events to help improve the speed of implementation for standardization and/or operational improvements
Perform additional tasks as needed

Your Profile

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or other related field (i.e.: Business, Engineering, or Logistics)

Experience:

5 years of supply chain experience in a shipping or logistics role in a manufacturing or distribution environment

Required Skills:

Must be proficient in SAP SD module
Must understand Idoc processing in SAP
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel including the use of pivot tables, data formulas, v-look-ups, etc.
Capable of setting priorities and making decisions autonomously

Effective at leading through influence

Ability to travel as needed up to 30% (primarily domestic)

Preferred Skills:

SAP BW/BI reporting experience
Manhattan or AS400
