 The role of the IT Process Analyst is to assess and review existing IT business practices and operating procedures, and assess opportunities to improve upon existing principles, author new business SOPs as needed, and, through collaboration with Technology, Operations, Training and Compliance teams, aid in the development of a comprehensive set of standards, education and workflows which benefit the agency in operational excellence .

Requirements

Requirements 

• Must have Associates Degree in Business, Computer Science or other related IT field, or higher
•  2 years experience in IT workspace as a Systems or Business Analyst or Consultant, Program Manager, Knowledge Administrator, IT Training Coordinator, or any other near-peer IT which provides a fundamental knowledge of IT Service Management and operational excellence.
• 5 years experience as outlined above and with relevant current technical or business-related certifications. 

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• The IT Process Analyst will analyze existing business processes and process documentation and work with internal stakeholders to propose optimizations.
• Analyze existing processes to assess efficacy and develop process maturity models to highlight concerns in existing SOPs.
• Create Process Documentation/Workflows for IT-related services and needs.
• Develop self-guided training and participate in the facilitation of instructor-led training when necessary.
• Identify, document, and recommend solutions to improving business workflows including automation.
• Analyze major incident procedures and escalation processes.
• Prepare high level analysis of incident reports as needed.
