The Mechanical Field Service Technician uses technology to help our industrial customers increase the reliability of their electric motors, gearboxes, air compressors, mills, and other equipment. Malloy technicians are on-site at customer locations providing mechanical expertise to assist in making informed maintenance decisions. Malloy Electric will provide on-the-job and formal training for technicians to obtain the necessary certifications for this role.
Duties and Responsibilities
Vibration Data Collection.
Vibration Data Analysis.
Machine Train Alignments.
Dynamic Balancing.
Lubrication Services.
Field Bearing Changes.
Inspection of electro-mechanical systems for evidence of mechanical degradation.
Operate specialized testing equipment as needed.
Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
Perform other functions as necessary.
Skills / Qualifications
2 Year Technical School in related mechanical, maintenance, or industrial field preferred.
Experience in industrial mechanical maintenance preferred.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to operate technology.
Physically able to lift and complete mechanical work.
Safety minded.
Able to work in a team environment.
