Malloy Electric is a rapidly growing company in the business of sales and service of electric controls, electrical motors/drives, and power transmission products.

Inside Sales representatives have an intricate role in our company, working with all departments within our organization to manage the day-to-day business of our customer accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide quotations to customers for motor sales

• Answer telephone and handle customer calls regarding sales of electric motors

• Assist with processing of ingoing and outgoing requests for sales order returns

• Support motor shop as needed

• Provide constructive input to management on competitive pricing and inventory requirements through market research, customer feedback and system tools

• Make profitable pricing decisions based on market feedback and system tools

• Assist with counter sales as needed

• Participate in sales and product training through local sessions

• Provide inside support for outside salesmen

• Conduct calls and follow up in conjunction with outside sales account representatives

• Perform other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate with customers and employees through written and phone communications

• Some electrical or mechanical experience preferred

• High school diploma, with some college preferred

• Excellent computer and data entry skills

• Attention to details

• Ability to multi-task

• Good oral and written communication skills
