Maintenance Engineering Group is actively seeking dedicated Service Technicians to join our team in Brooklyn Park, MN. This role involves the safe, proper, and efficient servicing of machinery, ensuring overall customer satisfaction and effective communication between departments such as Sales and Engineering.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Servicing of machines in-house and limited field travel (up to 10%).
• Troubleshooting mechatronics, electrical controls, and mechanical systems.
• Basic knowledge PLC and HMI programming.
• Complete equipment performance analysis and recommend improvements, both in-house and at customer sites.
• Perform administrative tasks as per checklist and documentation requirements.
• Ensure full documentation of machines during the commissioning process.
• Support Field Service Technicians in machine-specific topics.
• Ensure overall customer satisfaction with all provided services.
• Adhere to safe working habits in all job facets.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience troubleshooting and debugging PLCs.
• Associates Degree in Mechanical/Electronics and/or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering, control technology, pneumatics, and mechanics.
• Functional knowledge of PLCs with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
