For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible experienced Cardiac Sonographers
Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
Position Summary- Performs diagnostic echocardiography exams in order to provide quality images to the licensed practitioner to aid in interpretation of diagnosis and treatment. Assures safe patient-centered care in an adult and geriatric population. Adjusts daily workload to meet the needs of a fast paced, team oriented environment.

- Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Graduate of an approved school of sonography or allied health program with appropriate combination of education and training to be eligible for registration as a Cardiac Sonographer through ARDMS or CCI
- License/Certifications: RDCS or RCS certification within twelve months of date of hire. BLS within two months of hire.
- Experience: 1-2 years of clinical experience.
- Basic Computer skills
- Independent use of 2D and/or 3D Ultrasound equipment
