Pen Bay Medical Center is Hiring a Sonographer Cardiac Register-Cardiac Ultra Near Rockport, ME

Position Summary

Performs diagnostic echocardiography exams in order to provide quality images to the licensed practitioner to aid in interpretation of diagnosis and treatment. Assures safe patient-centered care in an adult and geriatric population. Adjusts daily workload to meet the needs of a fast paced, team oriented environment.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: Graduate of an approved school of sonography or allied health program with appropriate combination of education and training to be eligible for registration as a Cardiac Sonographer through ARDMS or CCI
License/Certifications: RDCS or RCS certification within twelve months of date of hire. BLS within two months of hire.
Experience: 1-2 years of clinical experience.
Basic Computer skills
Independent use of 2D and/or 3D Ultrasound equipment
