Job Description
The Work :
- Greets patients, answers phones, and performs clerical duties as needed to support clinical departments
- Schedules appointment times using computerized scheduling programs
- Verifies insurance benefits and may obtain precertification / authorization as necessary.
- Determines and accepts required payments, including co-pays and deductibles, and / or refers to financial counselors for follow-up
- Ensures that all necessary demographic, billing, and clinical information is obtained and entered into the registration system with timeliness and accuracy

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal, written / verbal communication, and support skills
- Ability to be flexible and shift priorities quickly
- Strong attention to detail
