Job Description

The Work :

  • Greets patients, answers phones, and performs clerical duties as needed to support clinical departments
  • Schedules appointment times using computerized scheduling programs
  • Verifies insurance benefits and may obtain precertification / authorization as necessary.
  • Determines and accepts required payments, including co-pays and deductibles, and / or refers to financial counselors for follow-up
  • Ensures that all necessary demographic, billing, and clinical information is obtained and entered into the registration system with timeliness and accuracy

You Have :

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal, written / verbal communication, and support skills
  • Ability to be flexible and shift priorities quickly
  • Strong attention to detail
