Summary/Objective:
Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects, and evaluating their position in the industry by researching and analyzing various sales options. Sells products by establishing contacts and developing relationships with prospective clients and recommends solutions to the C-level. Explaining in detail what Direct and Transactional Mail is and has knowledge of the USPS. The primary purpose of this position is to generate new business. National Sales territory with focus on Kansas City.
Base pay Commission with NO maximum!
Essential Functions:
· With the assistance of the Sales Director, be able to plan and develop strategies to obtain new and existing customer business.
· Generate and follow up on leads either by telephone or sales call to ascertain and discuss customer’s needs and provide a full scope of services offered by Company.
· Ability to identify client business challenges and offer appropriate solutions and service. Obtains specifications on customer requirements and provides appropriate follow-up
· Maintain a sales pipeline of all telephone calls and sales calls activities on all prospective and existing customers and provides report of sales activity to the Sales Director.
· Negotiate proposals with customers, making modifications as necessary to close the sale of services to new and existing customers. Prepare appropriate documents for execution by appropriate representatives of the customer and the Company.
· Coordinate with Account Management and Production teams to ensure completion of job quotes, job tickets and other information necessary for successful completion of customer's job.
· Work with customers to simplify mail or material processing whenever possible or practical and within the guidelines established in the customer and Company agreements.
· Responsible for being informed and knowledgeable of production capabilities. Keeps informed concerning services offered by the Company, fees charged by the Company for such services, expertise of the Company to add new services, and a satisfactory process to increase the volume of services.
· Review trade journals, attends and actively participates in seminars, trade association meetings and exhibits while remaining in contact with other like business and educational means to keep informed on subjects relative to the continued success of the Company.
· Attend face-to-face meetings with current and potential customers.
