Our Assurance Solutions Team guides clients to manage compliance and avoided surprises by providing specific improvements. We perform a variety of specialized audits that include HUD Audits, Employee Benefit Plans, and Single Audits.

As an Associate Manager with the Mahoney Assurance Solutions Team, you will assume a pivotal role in providing a variety of accounting functions for clients, including:

• Leverage strong and organized project management skills to plan, manage, review, and complete engagements
• Supervise, evaluate, and provide feedback to staff
• Develop new client contacts and cultivate relationships that are essential for the firm's growth and success
• Assist in preparation of proposals for new and existing clients while recognizing opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients
• Create and deliver presentations at client and firm meetings
• Consistently provide effective communication across all organizational levels internally and with various clients
• Participate in professional, civic, or community activities

Our preferred candidates will have:

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA license and 4 years of experience in public accounting
• Experience in Real Estate and/or Non-Profit organizations
• Prior experience with CCH software products (Axcess Tax, Engagement, Document) is a plus

We offer a competitive base pay range of $80,000 to $95,000 per year. During busy season, most accountants work 55-hour weeks.
