Job Summary:
Mahajan Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Lead Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, be able to run the floor keeping all medical assistants actively rooming patients and other duties as needed, as well as support medical staff in an office setting. Duties:

-Keep the floor running smoothly and efficiently utilizing medical assistants on staff

- Assist in patient intake, including measuring vital signs and documenting patient information
- Perform basic life support procedures as needed
- Administer medications under the direction of healthcare providers
- Provide medical administrative support such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
- Support physicians and nurses in delivering quality patient care
- Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology and physiology

-Help the Care Coordination Manager as needed with sicker patients

Qualifications:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification
- Proficiency in patient service with a compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical administrative tasks and electronic health records systems
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures

-Venipuncture skills required

-Previous experience in a lead position
