Bay Dermatology is seeking dedicated, professional, and friendly candidates who are looking for a rewarding and stable career. We currently have a FULL TIME opening in our Largo location. Openings in Pinellas County, Pasco County, Hernando County, Hillsborough and Citrus Counties
Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting the medical provider with patient care including obtaining history and chief complaint; assisting with biopsies and select surgery procedures. Other responsibilities include patient education on treatment plans and medication; nursing procedures, such as suture removal, dressing changes, Allergan patch testing, and completion of pathology and lab requisition documents.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent
MUST have a minimum of 2 years experience as a medical assistant
Essential Skills and Abilities:
Superior interpersonal and communication skills
Outstanding listening skills and ability to empathize for others
Appropriate sense of discretion in dealing with varied and difficult situations
Ability to convey a positive attitude in all dealings with others, whether patients or staff members
Exceptional personal organizational skills
Attentive to detail
