Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their assigned tables
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials
- Assist guests with seating arrangements and accommodate special requests
- Monitor table turnover and communicate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Familiarity with POS systems and phone etiquette
- A friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for providing exceptional guest service
